In recipes calling for Gum Tragacanth, you can replace with an equal amount of Tylose powder. Add 1-2 tsp. of tylose to 1 pound of fondant for a for a firmer, more elastic product. Mix 1/4 tsp. tylose and 2 T. warm water to make edible Tylose “glue”.
