• the idea is that Simpress molds are deeper than MM Onlay molds, so you get exactly the correct amount of sugar paste to cover the cake, without having to cover the cake in an initial layer of – it’s worth experimenting with this concept to see how well you feel it works

• clever design means all border molds are 2 x pi so will fit properly around any even sized cake (8″, 10″, 12″, 14″ etc diameter) and mats will interlock with each other so that there’s no need for cutting – this ensures an even pattern distribution and avoids having a ‘back of cake’
